Democrat: Term expires January, 2011.

Personal: Born and raised in Eastgate, Rodney and his wife Deborah live in Medina with their daughter and son who attend Bellevue Public Schools. Rodney is an avid outdoorsman, having climbed all five of Washington's volcanoes, participated in the Seattle-to-Portland bicycle event, and competed in three marathon races.

Education: MBA, University of Southern California - 1988; BA, University of Washington - 1985; Newport High School – 1981

Occupation: Realtor working on the Eastside for over 17 years.

Awards and Recognitions: Honored by the Washington School Nutrition Association for supporting an effort during the 2007 legislative session to eliminate the reduced price lunch co-pay for K-3 students.

Community Involvement: Board Member, March of Dimes Seattle; Board Member, Washington State Arts Commission; Bellevue Rotary
