Alderwood water/wastewater district
$7 million for the Picnic Point wastewater treatment facility upgrade. The new plant will be able to handle 4 million gallons a day at its start and can be expanded to handle 6 million. That capacity is needed because of expected population growth in the district. Alderwood serves most of south Snohomish County west of Highway 9 and south of Everett. The Picnic Point plant serves the Swamp Creek and North Creek basins, with a population now estimated at 37,667, about 25 percent of the district. By 2022, that number is projected to increase to 48,256.

Mukilteo Multimodal Terminal
The Mukilteo Multimodal Terminal Project relocates the existing Mukilteo Ferry Terminal and constructs a larger, multi-modal terminal facility. Mukilteo Multimodal Terminal This `previously existing revenue` project is the companion to the project funded by the `2003 Transportation Funding Package.` It is used for federal and local grants supporting the multimodal terminal project. Mukilteo Terminal This project conducts minor preservation work to keep the Mukilteo Ferry Terminal in sound and efficient operating condition.
